Roma with just two points from their opening two matches this season will be aiming for their first home victory when they welcome Sassuolo to Stadio Olimpico on Sunday.
They played a 3-3 draw against Genoa in their opener, and drew 1-1 with Lazio in the Roman derby the following week.
Sassuolo on the other hand suffered a 2-1 defeat away from home against Torino in their opening weekend and defeated Sampdoria 4-1 the following weekend.
Roma will be without Cengiz Under and Diego Perotti. Zappacosta and Spinazzola are doubtful. Chris Smalling will be expected to make his Roma debut.
Sassuolo will be without Rogerio.
